Let’s get acquainted: my name is Dimitri and I will be Your tour guide on our All Baltics tour in August.
I started leading the motorbike tours in 2011, and the first tour I have led was… All Baltics tour! Some adjustments were made since, but the main things remain the same: minimum motorways, maximum back roads, and sightseeing attractions you will never reach on a bus tour!
In the next 15 years I have led around 40 tours in the Baltic States, Israel, Italy, Germany, and the Nordic Countries.
– I never say “customers” about you guys. I always say “my guests”.
– Before going on the tour, many people ask, why they should ride a motorbike in the Baltic States. No one asks after the tour, why one should: after the tour it’s pretty obvious!
– My favorite mistake as a tour guide was bringing the group to the wrong hotel. I realized that we are in the wrong place before we ordered the second round of beers. It was still legal to go to the right place!
– Yes, it is a dream job.
